Terms of Service

Last updated 19 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the European Chef Academy website and student platform. By applying, enrolling, or signing in, you agree to the terms below.

Eligibility

Our programmes are open to applicants who meet the published entry requirements for each course. Enrolment is confirmed only once your place and any applicable fees have been accepted by the academy.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity on your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been misused. Students are granted read-only access to the platform; administrators may edit course, job, and schedule content.

Enrolment and fees

Programme fees and payment schedules are published on the relevant course page. Fees must be settled by the due dates. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable once a cohort has begun; cancellations before the start date may be eligible for a partial refund under our refund policy.

Conduct

You agree to act with integrity and respect while using the platform and in all interactions with mentors, staff, and partner restaurants. Plagiarism, harassment, or misuse of academy resources may result in suspension or removal from a programme.

Certification

Certificates are issued only to students who complete all required modules and assessments for a programme. Certificates remain the property of European Chef Academy and must not be altered or misrepresented.

Acceptable use

You may not attempt to disrupt the platform, access data you are not authorised to view, or use the site for unlawful purposes. We may suspend access where we believe these terms have been breached.

Intellectual property

Course materials, branding, and platform content are owned by European Chef Academy or its licensors. You may use materials for your own study but may not redistribute, sell, or publish them without written permission.

Liability

The academy provides the platform and its content on a reasonable-care basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
